Jason Pray is new to the Belfast-Beltway Boxing Project’s Advisory Committee. He has been involved with the Project since its early stages and is enthusiastic about expanding his involvement via the Advisory Committee. “Nothing played a more important role in my life growing up than sports and competition; they instill so many foundational lessons that apply to all aspects of life. The Project’s cultural and athletic goals are unique and I’m looking forward to helping to provide young men with these experiences and opportunities they may not otherwise have.”
Jason is a Managing Director of Congressional Relations for the BlueCross & BlueShield Association (BCBSA). BCBSA is a national federation of independent, community-based and locally operated Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies. Prior to joining BCBSA, Jason was the Director of Political Affairs for the American Psychiatric Association where he started their Political Action Committee and led the medical specialty’s efforts to increase their presence on Capitol Hill.
Jason grew up in a political family in Maine and has been involved in politics his entire life. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and resides in Arlington, VA.
